It has an ESRB Rating of T... Come on.

If sales were really an issue they could still release it as download-only title rather than go through the risk of releasing physical copies to retailers.

VGchartz has information for sales in the US and Japan for 2006 and 2007. The total sales for the US in 2006+2007 was around 69k. For Japan in 2006+2007 it was around 63k. This "doesn't sell well in the US" thing is complete horse manure.

The Asian version of DOA3X is already confirmed to have english subs and menus. There isn't even much extra work to be done. The only thing scaring them away is so-called "gaming journalists" constantly squawking on about misogyny and bashing Japanese devs for making games like DoAX3 and your kind, who lie out the rear to make excuses for them.
Digital sales aren't relevant to DOAX2.

Not to derail this thread any longer about DOAX series. But YOU actually think in span of TWO titles selling less than 1.5 million copies is good? rolleyes.gif

What does that have to do with anything? Bad publicity is bad publicity.

They're making a third title for a country that bought fewer copies of the previous installment than the US, while also producing a version with English subs/menus. Nuff said.

Because the game is still going to Europe.

Again 1.5 Million sales in the games industry is garbage, and take into account that's two titles.

The subbed version is the [ASIA] version, where English is commonly taught, especially in SEA.

You can see the green ASIA tag on their page. The English version is for the rest of Asia.

And once again, X2 sold less in Japan than in NA. If they weren't making X3 at all you would have a case, but you clearly don't.

The DOAX games were garbage and barely even really games. I think that's the reason no more is being released in the US, no one wants them.

The fuss is about being able to fuss. The absolute best thing in the world to complain about is other people complaining, it doesn't matter if the complainer you are complaining about is completely made up or not. Then I get to complain about the people complaining about the complainers. It's a circle of life kinda thing.
