One thing I dislike about Zowie mice is the scrollwheel. Not so bad on my EC1-a but my FK1 scroll could definitely be improved. Although I know they don't want to since it will "cost too much". This is the only thing I am not happy about. If someone is looking at a new Zowie mouse and doesn't already have one I actually implore them to give it a shot. Great mice IMO.
They could always release more shapes like releasing a proper fingertip/claw mouse again.

A few simple changes to the FK shape would only improve it. Like changing the angle of the area that contacts your palm, raising the front a little, reducing the slant of the sides...

I don't see any reasons why Zowie would make a 3360 mouse. Making a 3360 mouse when there is still a 3310 doesn't fit their business strategy.

Well now that Zowie has refreshed with the BenQ lineup, and now that they're reverting back to huanos because the omron refresh idea didn't work, they have to change something in the future variants in order to differentiate their new lineup from previous iterations. So this is where we see changes happen. It would only make sense in any business model. They are going to release new variants at some point... And hopefully it's not just aesthetic changes in the next lineup.

Let's be honest... They probably make a lot of profit per unit. If they set up their website with a UI where you choose a shape, then pick your cable type or switch type, LED option etc, it would look pretty professional and would attract a lot of people.

No there are a few of us. I've come to prefer huanos. thumb.gif

Though switches aren't as important priority as shape of shell to me so I wouldn't mind going back to Omrons if a mouse came along where I liked the shape. Savu with updated 3360 sensor would be an insta buy for me.

Personally the fk 2 is my bae along with the am i LOVE the stiff clicks and the shape of the am is just right for me and the fk 2 is fine to just different in a good way. With benq funds backing zowie they will make a 3360 at SOME POINT could be 2 years who knows.

If they set up a customs shop like fm where you could pick shape switches sensor buttons and everything it would be slick. An interesting idea is that you could work with a designer who could send you shells with different coating send you switches and lots of stuff to test out before you decide. Of course there would be an extra charge, i mean they already make 40$ of each mouse anyway....

I have strong doubts about BenQ/Zowie doing anything outside their design philosophy. It hasn't happened all these years.

Different shells would require different molds. The cost of a mold is substantial. If 3D printing a mouse can be done to the same level of quality as injection molding that might be a possibility then.

Well, its just your own preferences...

Even if 99% of your posts are usefull (and I also read you on HLTV.org), shape is very personal.
You can't say like "Useless to improve the mouse electronic's side, if the shape is still like that" since its just your personal feeling and not 99% of owner.
