ok so antifreeze gets a little thick, but I found this stuff, so I am going to give it a run to see if it works any better, it has a anticongelante.

there is 10oz in each, it keeps the math easy.

the fifth container is my control sample at room temp.

I'm curious to see the results. The mixtures with higher water will get your piping clogged in my opinion. Little ice crystals may form and bunch up causing blockage.

well I give it 12 hours to get good and cold before I check it. so at about 8PM tonight I will have the results for the second batch the first batch was a failure it got thick so I am trying other additives to the antifreeze this time as well.
hy-per lube
lucas super coolant
wetter water
and the new antifreeze
I may take me awhile but I will find something that works well.
to give some background as to why I test stuff before I do it.
I use to be in jig and fixture, than I got a education on mechanical engineering, and moved up to tool building, than I got another education in electronics engineering, and moved up to the satellites themselves, and they don't let anything happen to these things without extensive testing first.

Nothing wrong with that. Measure twice, cut once! thumb.gif

that is where my mind went to first, but manufacturing plants have hundreds of miles worth of coolant lines running through them, for there cooling system of all the different motors, pumps, and what not, and It's my hope, that they do not have heaters placed all over the place, to solve this issue.

well 6 hours in, and it's looking like the anticongelante antifreeze is the answer to this issue, the 60% antifreeze, 40% water, is the only one not thinking up at all, it seems that the other additives are working against the antifreeze, and are starting to gel. who would have guessed rolleyes.gif I will leave in it until tomorrow to make sure, but there you have it.
