Quickly plonked in one of the two turbos. Now going to seat it on my system to fire up sli.

Just a dry run whilst son was on the play mat and wife asleep





Ive got a 2nd phanteks 140mm fan but is white and red so will figure which goes where when its built

Awsome build! I also have a 6600k with 2 970's . The performance is great! Im gonna follow this build!

I tried that at first too but i couldnt get the theme that i wanted. Before i had the MSI z170a m5 mobo. But the red flashy heatsinks didnt really do it with the rest of the case. Plus the asus is a much more stable board! I went from 1,48 vcore at 4,78ghz to 1,42 at 4,81 ghz. Never thought it would make such a difference. I hope your mobo will do just as good!

Hopefully, intending to sell for break even so not sure whether to OC the #$%& out of it or let the board work its self .
I think my i7 860 id on 1.48v , hot stuff haha

Got the turbos into my system to run a quick fire strike test, top card is running 10c hotter. Whilst cards are in a TJ07 the door panel was off.
Managed to do a last dry run with second CPU fan and sli. Tempted to order a 3rd fan for red/black/red but will see
