Looking forward to watching the video reviews later this evening. Seems though that the tracking problem is still somewhat prominent. Wish I could have afforded one anyway, but Touch is so close I can taste it......

Can anyone who uses the rift with glasses tell me how it is comfort wise? I tried a friend's but felt that my glasses were pushed up against my face and it was fairly uncomfortable, just wondering if I was doing something wrong. considering buying a used headset in the next couple days. I may consider buying contact lenses just for VR lol

I tried a Rift and a Vive this past weekend, at a Microsoft Store. I wore my glasses, and took contacts with me just in case. My contact prescription is -3.75 in my right eye, and -3.25 in my left eye. I was not able to wear glasses comfortably in either headset.

The Rift absolutely did not fit with glasses. I could not see the lenses without them. It worked fine with contacts.

The Vive was doable with glasses, but not overly comfortable. There was a lot of nose pressure, and my glasses were basically being pushed into my eye socket. I can sort of use the Vive without contacts. Things are blurry but usable. It works fine with contacts.

I ended up buying a Vive, and it was delivered and setup last night. I'm very pleased with my choice so far.

Thanks, I may go check them out at a microsoft store with glasses and contacts as well. I found a used rift for a good price so not considering vive at the moment.

Remember that Oculus won't honor the warranty for used headsets. Only the original owner. Not sure if HTC is the same way with the Vive or not.
And that the Vive will come with the motion controllers, and if you do want them for the Rift, you'll have to purchase them when they release (sometime in the next monthish). Speculated to be ~$200

At the price I found for the used one its hard to pass up, even without warranty. If I decide that I don't really care for it after a few weeks I'm pretty confident I could resell it for a profit!

I know you aren't considering a Vive, but I would recommend trying it for the "with glasses" feel. Also then you could see the differences between the two.

Anyway, some Microsoft Stores have Vive demos, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the store closest to me also had a Rift demo unit setup. I signed a waiver and then got to try both. If you go to the Vive homepage there's a location finder for Vive demos, but I'd call to inquire about a Rift demo available as well.
