All games are like 1-2 hour long at max it seems.

We need a 15-20 hour long game lol...

I was so hyped about Everest and promised myself buying it when I get a VR unit for PC but oh men... That game seems very very short lol.

Well we do have some long games. Project Cars & Elite Dangerous can go on for a long time depending on how much time you put into it. I just want more. Even some of the short games on the Vive get a lot of game time due to friendly competition. I have about 22hrs on Space Pirate Trainer and 19 hrs on Audioshield. Those games just never get old to me because I'm always trying to one-up a friend, or get super pumped in music.

But as far as full fledged AAA games like we get on PC/Consoles, those are lacking.

Everest looked so cool on YouTube, but was so limited in VR, it really killed the experience. So much potential on that games that was missed.

Around $200 is a good price but still will wait for much more content , and there's still not real DSR support even though i'm kind of used to pixel view i'd really like to finally see at least in BETA stages.

Oh yeah. What I meant was story drivern games that take 10-20 hours. Other than that I am willing to spend a lot of time on RIGS and Driveclub VR as well.... thumb.gif


So after seeing the price tag on Oculus Touch. There is now a 0 reason to buy it over Vive I suppose. Since both are the same price but one is inferior to other in terms of room scale. I was going to buy a RIFT few months back, just because of the price difference. Now I am 100% focused on Vive but those things are not available here and it is still too big to import. PSVR will be in shelves soon though.

Is there any word on whether Rift + the touch controllers be able to work with all of the existing Vive games? I'm hoping those games come out with official rift support so that I won't have to trick my pc into thinking I that have vive controllers.

Yes, so far, most all games that work with the Vive wands will work with the Touch controllers through SteamVR. It just means that if the dev doesn't code anything extra, the Touch controllers still will look like the Vive wands and won't take advantage of any of the extra features of Touch. No need to do any "trickery" on your side. It will just work.
