I got my rift last Monday, which was about a month earlier than expected!!!!

Hmmm I might give it a shot than thumb.gif

Thank you for this.

i only use steamvr so jealous people can see the vr icon beside my name on their friends list...other than that...having oculus and steamvr as homes is redundant for me and I don't like steamvr interface at all....it's really clunky to get around with controller just to filter down to vr games then rift only games on the steam store. i just use actual steam in virtual desktop or on a monitor which is alot easier and faster.

This is basically what I was trying to say earlier. The SteamVR survey results basically mean nothing considering anyone with a Rift doesn't want to use it. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to use basic things in SteamVR, while OH was easy for anyone to use. It takes several minutes to even find and launch a game off SteamVR, or I can just not use it and launch the game from my desktop then put it on after the game loads.

My mother who doesn't play games and wanted to try the VR set had no issues going through and picking demos. Had I set her in SteamVR she probably would have just took the headset off and said screw it.

Has anyone here tried Sony VR? I only ask because I did get to try this out at a Best Buy demo the other day, and I wanted to know how it compares to Vive and Rift in terms of picture quality for those who've experienced both.

Ok I will be asking a question again but this time it might sound extremely and extremely dumb. Sorry about that.

I have a problem seeing far and use glasses for that.

Would this be a problem in VR too?

I mean at the end of the day we have the VR device right in our eyes and our mind is tricked into the illusion.
