Aha... indeed it is! FahCore21 is a 64bit exe while core17 and 18 are 32bit exes. I had place a 32bit opencl.dll in the fah client directory after seeing the "not found" messages earlier. The 64bit exe can't load that dll and gives the 7b error. Prior to putting the dll there, i'd get an "opencl.dll not found" error message when trying to run the 64bit core. The 32bit cores actually loads the dll from the windows/ directory and doesn't pick up the one i had copied into it's directory..

Looks like the problem is i don't have a 64bit copy of opencl.dll in windows/system32.

Ok there's some hope, but idk yet.

Upgraded to nvidia geforce driver 361.82 from 358.91. Now i have an opencl.dll in both windows/system32 and sysWOW64, so far so good, but they both appear to be 32bit dlls which seems wrong? The file lenghts are different but the PE headers for both say '32bit'. I have v1.2.11.0 for both dlls and they're about 200k and 210k in size.

I guess i'll find out on the next core21 attempt?

edit: It'll be a while till i know since it picked up a 35k core18 job.

I just got a bad hoarding habit with hardware. Though, may have to shut the main rig off for a bit. Nasty thunderstorm passing through South Alabama atm.

Now I'd like to remotely manage the secondary's folding client over the main rig, but I cannot seem to be able to do so, neither over FAHcontrol now simply monitoring via HFM. Entering the LAN IP of the secondary doesn't work as it seemingly cannot be found.

Does anyone have an idea how I can manage this? Thanks smile.gif

I usually have to restart my Folding client (on the secondary system) after configuring the Remote Access tab, have you tried that?

I've even restarted both systems. Not even HFM can see the second PC.

I'm guessing the folding related software is looking for clients in the "first" network (WiFi, internet) and not in the "second" network (direct cable, second rig), but I have no clue about setting networks up, especially since Win7...

Hmm, I just tried to replicate what you're doing, and its working. What I did was enter the main rig's Ethernet adapter IP (not the Wi-Fi adapter's IP) into the Remote Access -> IP Address Restriction field on the second computer, then entered the second computer's Ethernet IP into the a new client's Connection tab on the main rig (making sure the passwords match).

Drat, another core18 job! Project 9135, at least this one pays out better, 49k for an hour and a half. Showing 723k ppd for this project, running at 1392mhz.

damn - if it gets any warmer here, i'm gonna have ot hook in the aquarium chiller. redface.gif

55F, darn, that a rarity down here. I think we had a short winter, at best a week or two. Rest of the time it been staying above 60F around here. Heck, yesterday it was 75F. My poor strawberry plants are trying to bloom.

Had to shut down the main rig for a bit. Thunderstorm trying to knock power out. Suppose to drop five inches of rain today. Already had one county get flooded. Never understood why people want to build below sea level or in a flood plain area.
