Finalmouse 2016 worth the wait? - Page 10

EDIT and of course ZA series as well tongue.gif

I really wonder when Zowie/BenQ will hop on that task. I felt they shoulda waited a bit & did just that along with the rest of the line up refresh. Clueless as to why they didn't really, it would have been a solid move on their end.

With the Rival 700 soon i highly doubt the 300 will get the 3360 at all, which is crazy since it was the flagship model for them over 2 years.

It wasn't the newer model with Omrons but still -- this mouse is the best mouse I've EVER used by far no contest at all. I've used the "classic" Logitech mice, Deathadders, Intellimouse, etc. The shape and sensor feel of this mouse is better than anything I've used. It's literally the first shell I've ever held that makes me forget that I'm even holding anything in my hand after a few minutes of gaming. No other shape/shell has done that for me.

I've never bought into Finalmouse's marketing and "custom firmware, flawless sensor" hype. To me, citing that the finalmouse's 3310 firmware is better is like saying even though I have the same exact car as you do, mine is worse because I use Pennzoil oil in it instead of your Castrol oil. I've never used one so I can't say for certain, but I sure as hell know I'm not going to pay the price finalmouse asks for this mouse. It should be no more than $59.99. And to me even that is expensive for the build quality.

I'm going to be purchasing an Omron version of the EC2-A soon enough, and the only other mouse that can get me to switch is a decent shape/light weight mouse from Logitech/Zowie that utilizes a 3366/3360... but who knows when that will be. Apparently Logitech is still refusing to release a G400/G500 shape with their best sensor.

Sorry mate but how can the Zowie 3310 be better than anything else. This claim is slightly misleading. I agree the shape is good but the sensor is mediocre, good at best. It's one of the worst 3310 in terms of cursor behavior and doesn't have that stable polling rate either. I mean yeah it stays at near 1000 but cursor path isn't smooth at all.
I havent tested any FM but there are many sensors that are better than the Zowie ECx-A ones. Don't get me wrong, i like the EC-A release, but I cannot agree with you that the sensor is that good. Because once you try the good ones, you notice it isn't. Heck, even the old 3688 and 3888 feel miles more raw, accurate and responsive.

iirc from ino's review, zowie's za series mice had much different mousetester plots from the fk1

maybe some stuff was fixed for zowie's mice.

only thing custom about it is that they didn't write the firmware themselves. probably same for zowie/kingsis and other companies

Tbh I still click heads with my EC1-A. No qualms about its tracking. Sure it's nowhere near the best but in my opinion I enjoy using it until one with a 3360 is released. I used the g303 for months but just couldn't force my grip to ever be comfortable with it.

That would be why he said 'by far the best i have used'. It's how he personally feels.

(that's where it affects me the most in a positive way when using the G303, not the initial flick)

I posted that because it was during a match were bruzanHD said Scream wasn't playing well. Keep in mind Scream lost his organization, that was their last day under the Titan brand.

It's ok, was just trying to point out that a person that relies more on tracking/recoil control would honestly make more use of what the 3360 has to offer over 3310's or other sensors.

100% Agreed, I thought I was alone in thinking my Deathadder(s) sensors are much more precise/raw than my Zowie EC1-A. The EC1-A just feels like I'm restricted or it's delayed, I can't explain it, but I cannot aim for crap with it compared to other mice. I was actually debating getting a Finalmouse, I want something similar to Deathadder shape/size/weight, that doesn't have so many issues. It's a shame really, because I like the Zowie Ec1-A shape and everything, it's just the sensor that kills it for me. I've tried 400 DPI @ 500Hz / 400 DPI @ 1000Hz / 800 DPI @ 500Hz / & 800 DPI @ 1000Hz. Nothing could make it feel normal typer.gif
