I have titan x sli and i think they support hdcp 2.2 but i think it's impossible for 4:4:4 chroma 4k plus 60hz plus hdr on an hdmi 2.0.
Newer games will support hdr according to nvidia so it would be nice if this tv could support all of them at the same time.
Should i hope in the future it might be possible on this tv with a firmware upgrade and with a newer higher bandwidth hdmi cable?

Curious how far will you be sitting from that 55"? Noticed the 55" 4k dropping to $3k today and want to pull the trigger but feel like 55" is way to big for a monitor. Currently using a Samsung 48" 4k TV as my main monitor and I feel like thats about as big as I can go.

I hope my keyboard drawer provide enough distance for comfortable viewing. Right now i'm using a 40" crossover monitor and without using the keyboard drawer i'm ok for most games.

Let me get a tape measure to measure the distance.

Ok without using the keyboard drawer i'm 15" away from the 40" monitor.
With the keyboard drawer out i will be 25" away from the 55" tv.

Callsignvega said he's sitting 3 feet away from his tv. That's 36"!
If 25" is too close i might buy from amazon either a longer keyboard drawer, make a custom one or add a second keyboard drawer below the first one lol!

Any news anyone?
By the way why they dont add hdr and 3d on this monitor?
For $5k i would expect it to have all the bells and whistles.

It's not going to have 3D and I wouldn't expect HDR either. It is designed for photo editing, graphics design, and the like.

People doing animation work might really benefit from 120 Hz for all I know. Plus it's just a smoother all around experience everywhere that puts less stress on your eyes. High refresh rate is the future.

Just had the same thought. Most if not all 120hz monitors are aimed towards gamers.

Sounds like where HDR is needed?
