Sigh, I was hoping to get some folding action on the card. Guess not haha. Not sure why people seem to bug out like that when you're close to sealing a deal with them.
I've had that happen before. I guess when I find myself asking for too little I just buckle down and sell it anyway. Sometimes you just need to keep your word, right? Sucks to be on the receiving end though, all you can do is not do business with them again in the future.

At least I never have to worry about maxing settings on games.
Though I do currently have 7 GPUs soon to be 8, got another 970 showing up later.
You sure 8 is enough?
I have some concerns about getting enough airflow to keep a pair of tis cool! I've got the side panel off, most of the 5.25" bays open, and set a small box fan pointed in that direction. Chipset on my board was also overheating so I propped a 120mm fan in there. Had to really cobble it back together once I figured out the problem...never fixed it. I mean, I'm sure the card would be cooler running most games (especially at a low res and low refresh rate) but geesh! Nice to see my PSU actually getting a slight workout for once though. It's asking for a second and third card to make it break a sweat a bit.
Glad it got relatively cool here in Vegas this week though.

Given the relatively modest increase in price over a 970, I figured a Nano would last me for a while, even if I grabbed a 4k monitor in the next year. Things kind of went downhill though, so I slapped the 980 in my media server for now to ensure it has room to breathe. I'll move it over this weekend to play around with it a bit.

That's why it's a team thing!

I wouldn't think so. I see mine fluctuating fairly often too, just like the CPU WU's I get.Edited by technodanvan - 2/1/16 at 8:36pm
