You don't need to be netting 1M+ PPD when we have a team like ours! thumb.gif

Very nice PPD for 660Ti's. I think the best clock speed for folding for me was about 1228 or something - still have my 660Ti PE/OC edition (all boxed up).

Here's a question for you guys. I've never bothered overclocking graphics cards as they have never really needed it for my purposes. What's the easiest way to do this within Windows, and is it something I can do while the client is running?

I'm only talking a mild OC on a 980ti - I'm just running stock on the EVGA FTW model that appears to have a stock boost clock of 1291 MHz. I'm seeing others mention 1400-1450 seems pretty doable and I'd hate to not get a few more PPD because I'm too lazy.

You can use MSI Afterburner, PrecisionX, or any of the other OC'ing software to do it within Windows.

MSI Afterburner or EVGA Persision X are the only good options. I use PX for mine.

I would also at least pause the clients. After downclocking yesterday with the clients running I got bad WU's immediately after changing the frequency. So better safe than sorry.

The least complicated tool is afterburner. I really only use PX for K-boost when needed, it always seems to cause more problems than it solves for me.
Be sure to pause the client set the OC and toggle Pause off.

I made a few changes.....

I flashed my GPU bios to 1557 on the core, and lowered the Vram to 7000. I'm still at the same voltage of 1.218. I have a PCI mount that has 2 90mm fans feeding cool air into my GPU. I moved the mount up to the slot directly underneath my GPU. I also went to the newest driver 361.75(was on 353.62)

I changed out the Enermax(120mm) I had as a intake. I swapped it out for a Lepa(120mm) fan and made it a exhaust.

I added a little voltage to my CPU and took it to 4.2ghz. It was at 4.0ghz.

So far no issues at all. My temps have actually dropped. thumb.gif

Thanks guys, I'll give it a shot after I'm done working today. I'm hesitant to break things while they're working this week, I really should have dug into this before the kickoff. I'll just shoot for a light oc - what's usually pretty easy to hit on a Ti without getting all crazy with GPU BIOS changes and such?
