Proud of everyone who's sticking to this challenge! It does take a lot of dedication to fold. I know it sounds silly, but it's a little more than setting it and forgetting it. A lot of us are using our main gaming rigs, work rigs, and handheld devices which means we are sacrificing some of our day to day communications, entertainment, and electrical costs. Not to mention the wear and tear on our hardware from raw processing.

Keep on folding! devil.gif

Movin' on up!

This is the type i got.
EVGA4GB D5 X GTX970 ACX R

Is it due to the type that the memory clock is fixed?

my sentiments exactly!

I doff my cap to all involved no matter the team, for purely thrashing the life out of their pride and joys without any mercy.

I could fry eggs on my xeons right now!

keep folding on!!

That's why I was asking, but people have definitely OC'd these before. Stupid question, have you restarted your computer since you installed Afterburner? You could also try uninstalling afterburner and installing NVIDIA Inspector or Trixx (both free OC software).

Yes i restarted the pc an hour after i installed afterburn.
It seems the OC is running stable, just no memory clock increase.
I'll try reinstalling everything tomorrow and if that doesn't work i will try one of the other tool you mentioned thumb.gif

Folding uses the P2 state. It can be easily seen in Precision X which state you're OCing.

This is why I just hard mod my BIOS lol. Although the risk of bricking is a pretty big con. In other news, my 970 and AMD rig have been chugging along without a hitch so far. Might even break 10 mil by the end of the war.

So you recommend is to use Precision X instead of afterburner

Sorry I meant it can be seen in Nvidia Inspector. I have all 3 installed but I set the OC in afterburner.

Hmmm, I have to leave town Saturday and part of Sunday. Should I keep my main rig folding or turn it off? I have remote desktop setup pretty solidly, but I don't know it I should trust it completely. headscratch.gif

Either way, my laptop is coming with my so that won't be folding. I don't want to let down the team!
