Are they really releasing another board for the FX series because of delays with Zen?

Anyone have more info on this? I don't even see it on the ASUS website......

ZEN is on the schedule that AMD has been talking about for months. These products have been in the pipeline for months. You don't stop delivering or updating your product line till you have new products that supersedes the older product.

Is it really build to hold up with FX-9370 and so on?

Afaik it is a 8+2 VRM design or isnt it?

It is a 6+2 design. Basically it is the same thing as M5A99X EVO R2.0, with some lipstick on it (and with different NB variant of course). It doesn´t support FX-9K CPUs (125W max).

But it is in the support list:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/970-PRO-GAMING-AURA/HelpDesk_CPU/

Where did you found the information about 6+2? Atleast it should be better than my E9 vrm and the M5A99X Evo R2 is not a bad deal if I may say so.

The specifications say "up to 125W": http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/970-PRO-GAMING-AURA/specifications/

You can see the structure of the VRM with a naked eye.
But why do they post the FX9s in the cpu support list?

Most likely it is just a mistake. The VRM is pretty much identical to M5A99X EVO R2.0 and the FX-9K CPUs are not supported on that either.
