Wouldnt QPAD DX-20 be a good replacement for MX518?
post #32 of 66
If you want the same shape as the MX you will need to get a G500s. They don't make em anymore but u can find it brand new on eBay.

G400s is the last of the MX518 lineage (g500s has different sensor position and laser sensor). Get em while you can. (By the way, if you must get something brand new retail, still in production, the g402 is closer to the MX518/g400 than the g502)

Here's a g402 with a modded sniper button (for more comfort)

I'm testing out the new boxed g400s that was pictured. So far, so good. Here's the last one from this particular seller (on Amazon) in my cart. There are a few more listed as "used" but they are really new in box. The model number is actually 810-003644 on the one I got (like my 3 others I got last November).

My last mices: G500 -> G400 -> G402

The Logitech G402 is the closest one to the mx518 / g400. It has a slightly different shape and more buttons but overall I think it is a very good successor.

The MX518 was identical in shape to the G5 right?

Did you ever get anything?

I had a MX518 and now rocking a g500s but I really, really want a new mouse. That naos 7000 to me looks fairly nice.

I'm not OP, but I've been playing with G400 for 5 years, only mice that I liked that was kinda similar to it was the SteelSeries Rival 300, and at some point EC2-A shape wise (just didnt like other things about the EC). I have not tried the Naos so can't say.

Just wanted to give a thumbs up to the Rival 300 really, don't rule it out.
