4.2GHz @ 1.4V is completely stable but when I want to increase my clock to 4.3GHz I need to add lots of voltage to the CPU...
Is this normal?

I can be. I've had a dozen + 6300's on numerous boards and most behaved differently. I've had 1.5 vcore just to get 4.4 stable and once had 1.25 for 4.5 (that may have been an 8320).

Some have taken quite the voltage beating from me and with a good cooling solution they just kept on trucking. That is if the board is capable.

The EVO is a good board but it's socket temps will hit a wall before the CPU itself does. Provided the cooling is adequate.

Anyone upgrade to a 8xxx series chip from a 63xx? Is/was it worth it?!? Chip prices are dropping and I'm thinkino about it. Wrath cooler looks sweet too.

4 FPU cores are plenty useful for gamers, more than the iGPU in Intel CPUs.
