Windows 7 Updates List + Descriptions & Telemetry

Thread Starter
PLEASE NOTE: I will not be providing ongoing support for this thread. Support ended December 2016. As a once off I listed July 2017 updates.

Updates shown within this list appear in Windows Update for Windows 7 Pro x64 ONLY.
This is the configuration that was tested. Other configurations may have more or less updates.

PLEASE NOTE: Set Windows to check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them but it may try to revert to install updates automatically.
Make sure it doesn't do that. We have broken down the list with 3 colors described here:

GOOD
INSTALL IF NEEDED
WINDOWS TELEMETRY OR NOT NEEDED

That's because GWX or another associated update from Windows 10 upgrade is still on the computer. They have re-released KB2952664. I did do a clean install and when it searched it showed none of those W10 updates. I also use DWS Lite. Great for stopping telemetry. Microsoft are really pushing these updates down our throats.

After asking a few more people who just removed the updates then hid them, I may have an answer. The ones who just removed the updates and hid them had them come back between 2-4 times. After they ran DWS lite and used that software to hide them, the updates did not come back. Try running DWS Lite. It hides these updates and disables telemetry completely. Let me know how you go with that. Certain anti-virus picks it up as a false postive. If you want a copy of it let me know.
