USB mounting ddwrt

I will try and be as specific as I can. I am not a ddwrt expert and definitely needs idiot advice. I am having a very hard time figuring out what exactly my problem is and how to fix it , or I'm just not doing something right. i have a wndr3400 v2 router which is not officially supported by ddwrt and is a wip. However in openrouters website they have a current firmware version for this router and the firmware is a mega build v24 -sp2 that does work pretty well. I have mostly been able to get everything working the way I want except for usb mounting. I have a usb external hard drive that is 1TB and did read over the ddwrt usb wiki mounting tutorial. Now it does say fat32 is acceptable. I was able to find a utility to format my drive in fat32. When i go the the services tab and turn on the usb stuff, and have /mnt selected it shows a bunch of text and at the very end Status: Not mounted .

here is the text :
--- /dev/discs/disc0/disc

Volume size 931.3 GiB (999924334592 bytes, 30515269 clusters of 32 KiB)

Now what am I doing wrong and why wont it mount ?
The drive is a 1tb but for the life of me cant see what im doing wrong ?

Are you actually typing in the command to mount a USB or are you just viewing /mnt? I'm not an avid dd-wrt user, although I do have it on my R7000, but from what I understand it's just a basic Linux distro. So once you ssh into it, you'll need to mount it like you would any other usb in Linux.
