A cooler color temperature and lots of post-processing, I don't mean chromatic aberration and motion blur.

It is way more than that. Better shading and shadows for example

The main downgrade is the lighting system in my opinion. It looked perfectly natural in the E3 footage, just like Watch Dogs did. Yeah we need more debris too!

What are the chances that graphics mods for the PC version will bring it up to the E3 2013 level of detail? I'm sure someone is thinking about it.

They won't allow modding, it could be abused, switching between single player and dark zone. They could make it where all the textures transparent except player textures, and have a "hack" that type of way. I do thing that they'll raise up the detail for full launch.

Well, they did it with Watch Dogs. Had hidden files to enable E3 effects. Also boosted FPS which I found to be very ammusing.

I'm less worried about the impending graphics downgrade and more worried about TERRIBLE optimization and Uplay going down making the game unable to run. Much like with Watch Dogs.

Major reason I won't pre-purchase Ubisoft Games. Pretty much all their games of late have major issues ie Graphical glitches, poor optimization, bad textures.

so far everyone that played it said the game runs great (even reliable sources).

It was on Nvidia 980 Ti hardware though.

As long as I can max out, except maybe medium shaders, low shadows, 2x msaa, and no AO, and get 60 while recording stable on my 8350 and r9 390, I'll be happy.
