The dayz aspect of the game is awesome tbh. Friend or foe?

This pretty much sums it up. I got in today and found it somewhat repetitive within the hour i played. That said i was tired and found out it ended tonight so i just quit. I do hope it has success because i can see it being extremely fun.

Was surprised at how well my 780 did, been reading a lot about kepler struggling lately. My frames were 33-55ish. Even in the 30s the game feels pretty nice. I thought i'd never be able to say that. But it doesn't play bad in the mid 30s.

Well, I can't read the majority of what's being said in their review. However looking at this picture I see that they're on old drivers (361.43)...

Current Nvidia drivers are 361.75. The driver released for Tomb Raider and The Division. How much of a difference said drivers make, no clue.

FWIW, I rolled back my drivers to 361.75 because they were giving me 10 more FPS than the new release.

Beside, I didn't know anyone was expecting a 4 days beta to offer the whole game worth content.

What are you talking about. All I did was agree with you that the beta got boring but mentioned to keep in context as we only experienced an extremely small portion of. Apparently you hold your opinion too highly that someone can't even agree but add context.

Edit: Hell i wasn't even responding to you post actually, I just assumed I must have been by how you reacted.

Game will die quick on the PC, it's all client sided. Unless they use Batteleye, have fun with the hack fest. Totally unacceptable for lazy Ubisoft to have not made the game server sided. For those of you who that don't what i'm referring to go head over to Reddit and half the posts are in relation to exploits and hacking.

The Division seems to be having a very successful beta, with one major exception: on PC, cheaters make Dark Zone visits a bit of a nightmare.

The RPG’s subreddit is crawling with complaints about and discussion of cheaters – like this and this and this and this, just from the top page at time of writing. There’s talk of cancelling pre-orders if Ubisoft doesn’t announce proper anti-cheat tech.

ouch! quoted the wrong guy, my apology. now edited

Anyway back on topic, yes, the small slice of beta gameplay really showed the scope and how ambitious the whole game can be, even without take on main story, explore the PvE map leads to a lot small instance, building interior and large underground area that can be used as quest destination. .

But what really caught my attention is the gun firing animation, recoil and sound, they are as realistic a video game can gets, many AAA titles can't seem do this right sadly. That kind ensure players won't get bored when doing hours fire fights.

When ever I wold duck into cover and fire my weapon I was thinking the same thing. Not to mention hours ealier was at the range with my 9mm and I was thinking how good the game sounded.

I agree, I was playing last night with my HD 650s and the sound was really good! The whole cover system worked really well for me as well, it didn't feel like I was just slowly walking forwards spraying down enemies. I felt I had to workout where my next cover was and move up the fight slowly.

I also noticed I was getting a solid 60 fps, which I wasn't expecting reading some of the benchmarks.

Honestly I dont think this means it will die quickly.

First they are working on these concerns for the PC version. Im sure some form of anti-hack will be implemented to combat the issue. if not bans will be handed out to offenders.

second GTA V PC is plagued with cheaters and hackers and that game is still packed with players so calling out ubi is unwarranted. I think majority of these exploits will be removed either by launch day or soon after which isnt much of a big deal considering there is single player/coop to play the dark zone isnt necessary until the wrinkles are ironed out. even if they arent its not really game breaking considering that most PC gamers are aware of the possibility in every game, it sucks of course but is what it is.
