First they are working on these concerns for the PC version. Im sure some form of anti-hack will be implemented to combat the issue. if not bans will be handed out to offenders.

second GTA V PC is plagued with cheaters and hackers and that game is still packed with players so calling out ubi is unwarranted. I think majority of these exploits will be removed either by launch day or soon after which isnt much of a big deal considering there is single player/coop to play the dark zone isnt necessary until the wrinkles are ironed out. even if they arent its not really game breaking considering that most PC gamers are aware of the possibility in every game, it sucks of course but is what it is.

Grand Theft Auto V was one of the top grossing PC games in 2015, that's fantastic and hopefully Rockstar wont leave PC Gamers out again when they release new games.

But I'm pretty shocked to see that the game did so well on PC even with the cheaters/hackers in the game. You have people joining lobbies and griefing players in the most ridiculous ways. Not only that, but what can affect Rockstar and Take-Two financially is that there are people going around and spawning money on people, couldn't that affect what they earn from the shark cards?

Perhaps that doesn't matter too much as the game has sold a insane amount on PC and still is, which is likely why it was the top 10 grossing PC Game of 2015.

Suprises me as well that r* hasn't done more to combat the situation. There are people offering free in game currency way beyond the scope of the shark cards for a couple bucks.

Luckily in my time in the division I didn't see hackers I do believe sites like ign and GameSpot publicising the issue won't help final release though. Some hacks in gta are great though I was in a lobby with one that attached a clone of my character to my back and gave me all the guns in the game until I reset

Why? R* doesn't give a crap about PC players and that's been obvious since GTA IV.. Why the heck any of you have bought anything from them is beyond me. I will never buy a R* game again. It's laughable how many people talk badly about EA and Ubisoft but give R* a pass. Why? They're no better and in fact worse on many levels.

Honestly gta v is a great game on all platforms even ps3 which was still an enjoyable game. I'm not giving a pass on any publisher they all have duds which unfortunately are more noticed than the gems in today's gaming world. People need to stop holding grudges and just enjoy games for what they are. If your not interested in games then move on from that game.

Edit: my comment was more about r* fixing the issue because they are losing out on micro transactions and money because of it not because of the pc gamer experience

Looks like everyone will have a second chance to decide whether or not the game is for them and those who were not able to participate in the closed beta will have a chance to see the game and make a decision. Ubi just announced the open beta for the 18th-21st (xbox) and 19th-21st(pc, ps4) along with a new mission and reward for participating

Whether you're a veteran of the closed beta or this is your first time stepping into an Agent's shoes, you'll be able to jump into the open beta from February 19-21 on PS4, PC and Xbox One. Also, Xbox One players can get started a day early with exclusive 24-hour early access beginning on February 18, but players on all platforms can preload the beta starting February 16.

PLAY A NEW STORY MISSION AND GET AN IN-GAME REWARD
If this isn't your first time playing The Division, there are extra incentives to come back, starting with a new story mission that wasn't in the closed beta. Also, everyone who participates in the open beta gets access to a special in-game reward that will be unlocked when the full game is released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on March 8.

Sad but very true. Maybe people will condemn the game this time only after at least spending some time playing instead of based off YouTube, twitch and screenshots

The cheaters have been essentially gone for weeks now. I haven't seen one in nearly a month.

The open beta can use the previous beta download files. They also listed out a bunch of updates and tweaks that will be in the open beta.

Do yourself a favor and buy GTA:V when it's on sale. After you play it you'll feel guilty that you didn't pay full price. With the vast amount of graphic options you can get that game to run at a smooth 60 while looking good on pretty much any res/setup within reason.

Still amusing seeing AngryJoe referenced for pc. I remember when he was all about the 360. Once you've tasted the sweet nectar that is PC gaming you never want to go back. Though, he needs a computer guy to make his rigs instead of buying Alienware.

I didn't get into the closed beta, but, should try the open beta and see if I want to buy the game.
