It has once yes, while I was working on a paper for school earlier this evening. Being a college paper.. that was a bit of a pain in the ass, but completely different conditions that the hardware was under.
All of my PSU cables are snug and plugged in nicely. I did notice however, that the wall outlet that my power strip is plugged into is.. loose? Not sure how best to describe it. I noticed that it powered off when I hit the cable/plug (not sure which one it was) with my foot, but not hard. Pretty sure it was the cable.
Need to have my landlord come through and investigate (preferably replace) all the outlets. Really tired of dealing with this stuff. My last apartment had a lackluster power grid inside the house, and now this... I'm pretty sure that is the cause. I guess it would be loose wiring inside the receptacle?
I'm still going to test my PSU with a multi-meter this weekend though I think.
