Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a laptop/notebook/ultrabook.

What is your maximum budget? $800 or less

What country are you in? USA

What will be the uses of this laptop? School, coding and light gaming (LoL, CS:GO, KerbalSP)

Do you have brand loyalty or care which brands we select for you? Not really.

What screen size do you require? 15.6" or higher

What screen resolution do you require? 1080 or higher

Are you looking to buy NEW or would refurbished/recertified/used be okay? Prefer new.

How long should the battery last? (Under optimal conditions, no movies/games/heavy internet) 5+ hrs

What games would you like to play with your laptop? And on what settings? LoL, CS:GO , KerbalSP, Fallout 4. Prefer at least Medium if possible.

What operating system do you need? (if any) Windows 7 or higher

Is there a certain style of laptop you want? (aluminum, black, gaming, etc.) Modern minimalistic look (Not required)

How much hard drive space do you need? 500GB+ HDD or 250GB+ SSD

Do you need any special hardware? (blue ray, webcam, specialty ports, etc.) USB 3+ , Prefer a Quad-Core and at least 6GB+ of RAM.

Is there anything else we need to know? Gonna be using this product for online school, coding through CS50 and some moderate gaming. Prefer a quality product, while not breaking the bank.

Thanks! thumb.gif

Anyone got input on this Laptop? Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015PYYDMQ/ref=s9_acss_bw_cg_147ECL_4a1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-top-3&pf_rd_r=0JPD4MT8YQ6X26N3SBF9&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=2383875942&pf_rd_i=11392907011)

Look at the newest asus zenbooks. They have Skylake processors now and I think the i5 model is something close to $800. The only con is that it's a 13.3. But it meets your ultrabook minimalistic qualifications. The one with the dedicated 940m is $1300 currently.

Dell Inspiron 15 7559 or MSI GE62 276

Both are currently on sale. I think the MSI is $900 on sale right now
