And to reach global, I'd say late June or early July to be safe.

It's just my exaggeration, but it's probably not far off.

The FM16 Ergo seems to have better performance for FPS games. I prefer the shape on my Tourney Pro but the lift off distance is a little jarring with low dpi after using the ergo. Both of my ergos felt like they had none. They are by far the best performing mice I own. I say that after running through the Ducky Secret, Logitech G502, G303, Scorpion M600, sev others. FM seems to have heard the community and tried to hit the sweet spot in weight/performance/design together. This isn't to say the FM TP lift off distance is bad, its still very good. Hoping someone else who has both can compare too

double up on mouse feet

optical mice like the wmo had a higher lift off distance. i am so used to it that very low LOD mice are almost unusable for me. better to have a higher lod you can lower, than to have a low lod you can't increase. the zowie mice can though and it's amazing, you can make the lod very close to the wmo

buy some hyperglides and swap them (they are thicker than stock i think) or double up on them imo (put over stock)

i plan on putting hyperglides on mine immediately

I did the tape trick and it's now as low as my FK1's LOD without sacrificing sensor performance at all. This thing is now a tool of destruction. The higher LOD was definitely not suitable for my playstyle but now it's a real thing of beauty.

Tool of destruction is a good description. I'm feeling bad at times for some of the crazy ass shots I'm pulling off on people.

Not really. They don't want to offer a beta/unoffical firmware either.

Maybe the TP has the stock lens and the FM has a custom lens?

The PCB may be mounted slightly higher in that shell too. I doubt FM would use a special lens.
