"tweaking the firmware"

This is absolutely not what is happening. We are developing an ENTIRE firmware design. Source, includes, everything... thousands of lines of code. Here is what one small snippet of the read and write modules in the sensor portion of the firmware design. For those with programming knowledge, im sure this will be interesting to look at. I am not one of these people, so do not ask me any questions i am copy pasting:

But When I say we are analyzing EVERY SINGLE line of code, and every single microsecond of design delay in the implementation.... I mean that is exactly what we are doing. And we are then cross referencing with pixarts very own lab validated reference for the 3360.

TLDR: If you want a potentially good mouse from Finalmouse, wait for the Scream edition.

Both of these will not be tolerated - the same way that swearing here has never been tolerated.

Hence it is best to make one's point on OCN without any suggestion of swearing or profanity.

check datasheet, bottom of pg15. 120ns is enough

not sure why you're showing this. microsecond delays are standard in any spi communication for any mouse due to the specifications of the sensor.

I'm just returning mine and putting away the cash for a high quality 3360 mouse, whenever that comes sometime this year. I couldn't take the rattling buttons or led anymore. Shape was good. However I tried to ignore the QC issues and instead of puttin them in the back of my mind they were just too distracting. Oh well, good attempt at a great mouse, but still not there yet for me. I wish the g303 and fk1 fused together amd gave me the spring tensioned buttons and sensor of the g303 and the shape of the fk1.

iirc you said you're using some stmicro ARM mcu. the architecture is ARM. you guys aren't developing the architecture... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARM_architecture
obviously that's not what you meant, but please, now that you have supposedly have engineers doing stuff, let them post on here to address the technical questions. because every time you say something about anything technical, it honestly just makes you guys look kind of stupid thumb.gif

Seriously, why is Jude still skirting around the issue of the false weight advertisement. I've been asking several times as well along with others and 74g is falsely listed in the main description on the FM TP's amazon page (and probably their site as well).

I was sure I'd purchase the mouse immediately with a shipping forwarder and I was mentally prepared then it would be heavier at 80g. But the fact is the weight is now 13g more than advertised!. FWIW the extra weight piece in a G100s weighs 14g! That is simply ridiculous and makes me wonder what else they are lying about! mad.gif At least be forthright about the weight and also tell us if the S1 is going to weigh that amount as well or if any efforts are made to adjust the weight lower for any planned FMTP update version. mad.gif Kinda suspect if the FMTP weighs 87g and the purported S1 was mentioned already to be heavier, I wouldn't surprised it would be a brick piece of crap at 90+g.

From what it sounds like they're supposedly going to list the standard sans-cable weights now. Apparently Jude is basically an intern and has little voice in the vast corporate structure of Finalmouse so it's taken all these months for something to be done about it. rolleyes.gif
