lol, those jude posts. like a kid trying to teach a university class.
stands there, talking. but doesn't really know what he's saying, while trying to make it look like he does.

i guess your posts are more aimed towards people who don't really read your posts, but rather to those who only read "best, esports, for you, engineers, firmware, thousands of lines of code", etc.
yeah - super impressive!

all your posts here are just extending your marketing. hyping up the people who already believe you are elite mice making masters.
good job

I was sure I'd purchase the mouse immediately with a shipping forwarder and I was mentally prepared then it would be heavier at 80g. But the fact is the weight is now 13g more than advertised!. FWIW the extra weight piece in a G100s weighs 14g! That is simply ridiculous and makes me wonder what else they are lying about! mad.gif At least be forthright about the weight and also tell us if the S1 is going to weigh that amount as well or if any efforts are made to adjust the weight lower for any planned FMTP update version. mad.gif Kinda suspect if the FMTP weighs 87g and the purported S1 was mentioned already to be heavier, I wouldn't surprised it would be a brick piece of crap at 90+g.

Obviously a 3310 mouse of that size and that many switches is going to weigh in the 80-90g region. Anyone believing a mouse that large weighs as much as a G100S is very gullible.

The 3360 version could be a little lighter if FM doesn't give consumers the sensor position they think is perfect/ideal and shortens the PCB by removing the LED logo. If they wanted to make it very light (for its size) they would put the CPI button on the bottom, position the USB cable closer to main buttons, remove the LED logo and the areas that exist because of it, place the 3360 sensor right behind the wheel, then remove useless PCB space.

And that would save, what, 5 grams? Rival 100 is around the same size as the FM TP and its entire bottom shell area is covered by the PCB which weighs 18 grams. Most of that is in the front as the PCB is a bit front heavy even though the surface area of PCB in the front is less compared to the bottom. The top shell is 46 grams. It's pretty easy to tell what part of the mouse the weight should be cut from. If excess PCB is a problem, they could use two-part PCB with an FPC cable or they could cut the excess PCB from between the sensor and the button/wheel part.

I don't understand why mice are made so sturdy that their shell can handle a lot of abuse. It's only good if the mouse literally goes into pieces if a teenaged rager smashes it with their fist. People like that should seriously take some time off from gaming anyways.

How much does the Finalmouse original / 2016 weigh? Has anyone placed it on a scale to verify the actual weight yet?

Ergo is 84-86g, tourney is 86-87g. Those numbers are actually from jude but people have weighed each and the numbers line up with that.
jude is trying, gotta give props to that. one person can only do so much and know so much, he's doing a lot by just posting here at all

would you rather see jude post, or see kimrom post about how he wont use better switches because they cost pennies more
post #259 of 345
lol, do you actually think that jude is just some cog in the machine? There's probably like 3 people in FM if there even is anyone else. And Jude's likely the one running the show since he's the one we've seen since the beginning and he's never really talked about anyone else outside of generalities (and in the past those just being people at the factory). This isn't some intern who doesn't know anything trying his very best to provide us with the facts about the inner workings of the Fortune 500 company he's at, it's one of very few employees at a company consistently engaging in half-truths and doublespeak for months.

For me ~5g is noticeable. The weight difference between the WMO and IMO is noticeable. I took out the side button PCB from one of my Zowie AM mice to get it close to the weight of the WMO.

I'm guessing they could make the Scream1 weigh 73-80g if they designed it similar to what I stated.
