Can I migrate my Windows installation to another drive on the same PC?

So here's my issue, I currently have a 500 gb HDD installed in my PC. I'm planning to get a 1TB HDD in a month or so, and I was wondering if there was a way to migrate my current installation of windows as it is into the new drive and then take out the older drive, since I'm planning to use it in an HTPC.

I used Acronis True Image to copy my OS from a HDD to an SSD. The process was pretty easy. It's free if you own a western digital drive.
