Your call buddy - personal preference. I doubt you will use anything over 12gb so 16 is just fine. But like I mentioned it is personal preference, if you have the money to spend and are intent, go for it. In your situation though i think it is misplaced money.

Couldn't tell you on the color scheme side of things, could always paint the covering on that Sapphire that I linked ye.
I will do some more reasearch on ram and make up a decision. If anyone else sees this and has an opinion on it let me know..

How would you paint it? I think that would be the best solution other than going 970 because the 390s are ugly.

Just wanted to say here is the build now..
Im going to start ordering parts so thank you for your help.

I actually ended up putting the price of the build in a very good range.
