I was trying to install windows 10 which might ad went AMAZINGLY and runs well. i sued the windows 7 boot camp drivers and used the XDA forum drivers for the GPU. Win 10 is now the sole and only OS installed withOUT boot camp. complimented with an Intel SSD. I've heard it would have boot from CD or USB if I had held down the "c" key but, what worked for me is installing reFIND while booted in to the snowleopard. reFIND let me boot the W10 USB drive.
Also side note i tried install 4gb of ram and it refused to boot. same with 3gb of ram and switching slots but, win 10 does well with 2gb of ram. i can play games like BioShock 1, Besieged, Banished, Castle Crashers etc etc. Interesting bit i've installed 4gb of ram in Yonah CoreDuo PC laptops before with 3.5gb Usable. Either it's a funny chipset with limited ram bus lanes or bandwith or an odd mobo setup, OR the EFI needs hacked or modded. Seaf's knows about all that stuff more than I do though.
EDIT: Either I forgot a connector and i'm pretty sure i didn't miss any thing when re installing mobo but, ever since installing win 10 even with all drivers, I can't get KB back light to work or the right click to work (hold a key down and click) which is no biggie i just use a USB mouse.
I might post some screen shots later.
