First buy wire from your local electronics hobby store then buy these: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/10-Sets-Micro-JST-2-0-PH-5-Pin-Connector-plug-Male-Female-Crimps-/181441351414?hash=item2a3ebf4ef6:g:t3oAAOxyqOxRx6Yt then buy these: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/10pcs-USB-Male-Connector-USB-Plug-USB-Connector-Type-A-4P-with-Shell-/201340101900?hash=item2ee0ce250c:g:0FoAAOSwpDdVOJr5

Then buy some Paracord in your favourite colour and put it all together.

hmmm thats one way. i've made a few myself just by stripping an already assembled cable. iirc it was razer cables that were pretty easy to work with.

Buy 4 colours of thin wire from your local electronics shop

The thing that makes it even more flexible is using REALLY thin high gauge wire. The deathadder cables are good but custom gauge is better.

dunno how relevant this is, but some days ago i had my wired xbox 360 controller disassembled, and saw that it also uses only 4 wires without shielding. smile.gif
I build the cable for my new xbox one pad, also without shielding, where the micro-USB plug that i used, wouldn't even have solderpoints for anyway.

What is your methods for sleeving the internal wires? I am having a real hard time feeding through my cooper wire through the paracord.

Hi guys.. Recently got another G303.. it was on sale, i couldn't resist, it rattles.. I looked up the fixes some of ya'll are using.

I don't think you should use the thick foam type tape.. because that changes the sensor distance to surface..

The grooves between the lens and bottom housing has to be minimally altered to keep everything within design specification..

Even if the thicker foam type tape stops the rattle, it will add a significant distance to the surface, because the grooves can no longer seat properly in the bottom plate.

It only fits together, because the screw holes are above and below the pcb, which allows it to Bow/arch when you put that thick tape in.

All that's really needed is around 0.1mm or so of tape to keep the lens from rattling.. if you measure the foam tape, it's significantly thicker..

Scotch tape is roughly 0.06mm, so you'd need 2 layers, Scotch double sided tape is 0.09mm, one layer is enough.
