Feels like a brick. Even worse than g502/gladius. Feels like double of Rival 300 biggrin.gif

Never gonna buy this trash, even if the sensor is good. I just don't see anyone prefering such weight. It feels quite back heavy too.

SOOOOOO where in the actual hell are you located again?? I'm trying to get one.

Yep just got the same thing. I would love for it to be at Best Buy on that drop date but I doubt it.

It's my main mouse now tongue.gif. Funny how I could adapt to the mouse weight and shape, was pretty sure I would hate it when I saw the spec too.

On the other hand, thought I would love the G900 - turned out to be the opposite, the click got too much tactile feedback and hurts my finger if I play indie/heavy clicking game. And the shape is kinda awkward for my hand like all of the modern Logitech mice. Now if they would release a G402 with 3366 ... rolleyes.gif

How are the Rival 700's Clicks?? Reading about them it seems they are trying to do something G303 like in a sense. When looking at the Shape dimensions i think i will like it, only worry is my thumb being a little long & sitting on the third side button.

Define "in a sense".

In this instance i'm takin' it as they are trying to have a click that is on par with the G302/3, with SS wording, i don't doubt the click will be nice, i just don't exactly trust em to live up to that type of amazing click.

I don't know why you reached that conclusion from a tweet written by someone from marketing. I mean reinforced plastic? lol

Anyway. I'm still waiting for a teardown review of the mouse(looking at you china). I'm assuming there are those out there that would like to know what could be possibly removed for weight reduction. For example how much does the detachable top cover weigh?

Really hard to describe these things - to me the rival 700 is easy to click, and the travel seems a tiny bit shorter compared to the other mice. The feedback to your fingertip is minimal; so you can spam those button for a long time without any fatigue. I remember hating the Rival Classic buttons - not sure if they still use those "steelseries microswitch" in the rival 700 though. Also when you click the rival 700, it sounds more bassy/dampened compared to the "tick" sound of typical mouse click

The click sound order in the soundcloud link is Rival 700 > g900 > Castor > KPM

It's on the products description page on the ss site, which is why i brought it up. As i said they are obviously trying to use wording as only they can which is not hard to see through at all. Lol

Plus it was the first time i ready anything about the clicks at all.

Gotcha, thanks for the click comparison.
