I was wondering about that too. The front of the mouse looks pretty low which is something I really love in mice but is generally not super common (especially in ergo mice, usually they're designed for palm grips and have a high-ish front). But 135g is just way too much for me.

I'm honestly kinda fascinated they could make a mouse that is only 125mm long weigh so much, so you'd think there's a ton of garbage in there you could remove to down the weight, but who really knows. Hopefully one of our more cavalier members is willing to open the thing up and experiment since I'm not keen on spending $100 for a mouse just to see if that's possible since if not, it'd be unusable for me in its current state thus a waste of $100.

The sensor assembly probably adds a lot. Then there is the screen, removable plates and "sniper" button.

I like the idea of having an extra button for dota 2 and the idea of haptic feedack again in dota 2. I think it can be really usefull. But I will have to check it out on tuesday to find out for sure.

Absolute waste of $100 i agree fully, which is sad. I feel this is how much the G900 should be & the Rival 700 about $60.

Exactly what i was gonna say, the modular sensor is easily the bulk of the darn mouse. Sad because the shape is very good, verrry good.

If anyone plays with a higher sens of 800cpi or higher you should be A-ok. If you are a 400 lover it will take some time to get use to the weight. Besides the weight, price & OLED screen this mouse is simply a winner.

Oh i am.

I wanted to get some info out for people, a bigger review is coming soon so i held off on that & just dropped some simple stuff so people have an idea.

Zowie Ec2-A
G303
Finalmouse Ergo

Those are my top 3 currently in no order really. Only thing i give a wenis about is Trying the Scream 1 in July.

It'd be fantastic if Steelseries released a RAW version of this mouse without the modularity gimmick and such since I imagine it'd be sub-100g. And speaking of, I still don't understand the logic behind creating a mouse with modular sensor feature then packing it with the 3360 by default. Makes no sense to give people the option to downgrade; the logical thing from a business standpoint would be shipping it with a 3320 or whatever then offering the 3310/9800/3360 as parts. As it stands the mouse already comes in its best configuration and all they did was increase weight and add more ways for the mouse to break.
