Rival 700 (new mouse thread) - Page 24

The only way I'd buy this mouse is if someone finds a 50g removable weight inside.

Let me clear things up for you, the G900 is a totally NEW design due to having removable side buttons sunshine, so please let's not go into G303 fever territory here placing great praise on their debilitating design faux pas.

The G900 is the MOST perfectly shaped beauty for the Right or Left hands. Another design feature not readily available for the poor G303 right hand cramper.

What Logitech did for the G900 is something far more important than just making another cookie cutter mouse shape. They went beyond all expectations therefore leaving their pathetic detractors to enjoy their G303 rubbish mice in disgust.

After all if you want to ride this train, you need the moolah for it hence best to go rummage in the cheap parts/special bins in your local store if you can't afford this input device of perfection biggrinsmiley.gif .

Yes, the design is somewhat novel with the ability to block and disable all the side buttons. I'd agree on the point that no mice before has allowed you to block all the side button (Roccat Nyth comes close, but not quite)

The shape however, is not. That was my point.

The only "perfect" thing I found about the G900s is its wireless capability. I've tried daisy chain the receiver through 3 usb hub, hides it behind a few cardbox, plug in it the laggy usb port on the monitor, it still works quite well. Still hating the clicks and the scrol wheel so it's still gathering dust.

Just a very good wireless mouse with a lot of hype due to its hefty price tag tongue.gif. Far from perfection imo.

Each to his own, although I love the clicks and the free-scroll wheel.

The best scroller feature in the market today is what Logitech devised, so it gets regular usage within Ebay, Excel and Access.

One final note, love your furry mouse pad yessir.gif .

How well does the 3366 sensor track on the cat, because that is what I really want to know?
Do you recommend a cat as a pad to gamers. IF so, how much did the cat fur improve your aim?
Surely you've become a sponsored pro?

I don't like the shape as well...

We usually are on the same page, I now ask you as a mice brother in arms....don't talk about the G303, it may be small and dumb & odd to some, but not to all. Some actually appreciate and like what the mouse is.

It tracks FURiously™ biggrin.gif. On a serious note fur does not disturb sensor as much as dust. I remember my old zowie usually had erratic movements or refused to track if there's tiny specks of dust below the sensor.

I recommend a cat for all gamers in the world, although as a coach and not as a mousepad. Coach cat really FURther™ improved your aim. Not recommended as mousepad since purring interrupts your aim and it may bite/scratch your hand tongue.gif

My cat overlord sponsored all my purchases so yes I am a sponsored pro.

G900 is way overpriced IMO unless you reaaaally need a good wireless mouse

being right-handed I also dislike the ambidextrous shape

Mine is still tethered and will always be that way.

Love the shape and I'm a Right Hander, so far this mouse has been the one I've used for more than four weeks now, that's a whole month. A record at my place where I normally swap meeses on a daily basis.
