Asus Vanguard B85 & G3258 maximum ram speed

Hello,

Vanguard B85 should support 1600MHz memory speed, or even higher with the right SPD, and it does.

Pentium G3258 does not limit the RAM memory speed, at least on some higher rated chipsets. So it's not a bottleneck by itself.

I got Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP 1.35 at 1600MHz.

So why BIOS (UEFI) limits my ram at 1400? Is it possible to modify the BIOS to unlock bCLK or the memory multiplier, or simply to add one more standard speed as 1600?

All the three main components support 1600 and higher memory speeds in other setups ( Vanguard B85 + i5 => 2000MHz+ ram speed; same for Z97 MB + Pentium G3258)

Thank you.

PS. Please don't tell me that G3258 offers support only for 1333 memory.

Is my question stupid or no one knows?

Contacting ASUS would help?
Anyone got the Vanguard and solved the problem?

Thank you.

Someone with skills in electronics and/or a bios programmer can help me bypass the 1333/1400 RAM limitation on B85 + Pentium G3258, or explain why is not possible ?
