Rival, Deathadder, Finalmouse questions.

Hi.

My two favourite mice of all time, is the IE 3.0 and the G400. I don't have gigantic hands, but I still love the ergonomic shape of both of them. I've bought a tons of mice lately, and I still find myself returning to them, so now there are only very few mice I'd like to ask about, before I buy even more that isn't going to suit me.

Mice that I've tried, and loved for a long period of time:

Deathadder:
I've played with it for a long time, the sensor is good, synapse scares me to death to install, the sensor is the best about this mouse.. however it kinda feels too big to hold. I don't know what causes it, it just feels bigger and more clumsy than my other mice.. even though they should be the same size.

G400:
I loved this mouse for a long time after 3.0, only problem I have with it, is the extreme high LOD makes the tracking feel weird, I've tried the tape thing, it's just not the same.

EC2-A:
This one is.... weird.. the shape is amazing, the sensor feels good aswell, but there is SOMETHING... I can't put my hand on what, and it's the same with ALL zowie mice that I've tried, is that I just don't feel confident in aim duals/awping with them. I don't know why, I just can't.

IE 3.0:
Sensor is amazing, shape is amazing. I loved this mouse.. however I have a chinese fake one, so the scroll wheel is crap, the mouse feet are pure sandpapers, almost can't move it.. but I'm sure the sensor/hardware stuff in it are the original 3.0... so I obviously need a replacement.

Mice that I'm interested in trying:

Rival:
I don't have big hands, only about average, for some reason DA feels big for me, but 3.0 feels great, how does the Rival compare to those?

FinalMouse 2016:
I'm considering the FM aswell because it has the thumb place, just like the G400, which I loved.. the weight is extremely light, which is a plus aswell, it kinda looks a bit smaller than the DA which is what I'm looking for, and also that I know multiple awp'ers play with this mouse and hit their shots consistently. I just want to know how close this mouse is to DA, G400 and IE 3.0.. it kinda looks like a blend between. And yes, I'll wait for the ScreamOne announcement before I buy it.

Mice I've tried and didn't like:

G303
ZA13
FK
Sensei
Mionix Castor
Kinzu
Xai

TL;DR: Your thoughts about how Rival, FM 2016 compares to 3.0, DA and G400.

Thanks.

The Rival is the closest feeling mouse to the IME3.0. In terms of feel it feels smaller than a Deathadder, since its narrower and its a longer mouse, so it doesnt force the grip. In terms of feel - it feels in terms of size close to the ex2-a than to the ec1-a or the deathadder.

Me personally i switched to 303 since it was still too big and abit heavy for me. But the Rival is propably my next go to mouse.

Performance wise - there are those random spin outs, but I am confident hat it will get fixed with a firmware update. But they happen rarely. Like once or twice a week for me.

also - if you are getting the Black 300 or ther Silver 300 - those have much improved sides. They dont feel good for the first 5-10 days, but after that the surface breaks in and they provide awesome grip.

Build quality: Onl issue is the wobbly and rattly wheel on some of them. On mine it was a bit of both. Nothig serious.

Definitely sounds great that it's close to 3.0 and feels smaller than the DA. I'll buy it and see, and yes I'll get the black version, never been a fan of any other color, or glossy type of mice.

Last question before I buy it though. Do you have an idea if it's as snappy/responsive as the DA in sensor performance? I'm primary awping in CSGO, with the deathadder I can throw insane flickshots around and still hit the shots, plus I can move the mouse like crazy and it'll still be responsive and move to where I want it to, but as I said, sometimes it feel too big for my hands, the way they have designed the front is quite annoying.

With the ZA13, or EC2-A or castor, the 3310 sensor mice, I haven't been able to be as confident in awping, I have no idea if it's sensor related, or the shapes..

Well I can't really coment on it. I dont feel much difference between 3366, 3310 and the am010. I guess I am just too old. But I am convinced that the most important thing in a mouse is comfort. If a mouse is comfortable you can work around certain nuances. Like when I used a Logitech G3. I knew it would spin out at a certain speed, but damn did I like that shape. So I played with a medium sens and was fine.

The only mouse that I felt had issues was my Xai. That thing just felt wrong.

So my suggestion to you is go for the shape. And dont worry too much with the sensor perormance. Give it a month and youll stop noticing it. Just like after you switch from a 100hz mouse to a 125 hz mouse. eels weird as god knows what for the first couple of weeks, then you dont notice it.

Why not just get a brand new intellimouse 3.0? If you don't want the chinese knockoffs (they are fine IMO, sometimes even better) then you can buy the intellimouse 3.0 legends (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-IntelliMouse-Explorer-Legends-Edition-3-0-Mouse-for-maxs-gift-/262232165719?hash=item3d0e414d57:g:UAAAAOSwf-VWUl3B) they are brand new in box and is better quality then the original 3.0.

I've tried many different mouses, including the g400, deathadder, g302 and all the other "top" mice currently and I have gone back to the intellimouse/wmo every time. They are just the best mice when it comes to raw performance. No gimmicky drivers. I do agree that the mouse feet are COMPLETELY terrible and you should replace it asap. Luckily takasta sells some of the best mouse feet for the 3.0 so you should probably pick some up.

I just hate that it's so hard to buy, ebay, amazon etc. all are international and mailing etc. costs a ton.. plus you will need to know who sells the original and who doesn't.. feet needs replacements and most important, you will need the program tweaking thing to change HZ, 125 alone is a mess.

While it's a god mouse, it's not THAT worth it. Although if all other mice fails, I'll go back to it. appreciate the link.

I've looked at it multiple times, but afaik it doesn't have the same sensor as the DA 2013? and lots of people complaining about the LOD.. i don't want a mouse with a extremely high LOD like my G400 or G100s.
