GPU Upgrade

Hey,

Wanna upgrade my GTX 770. I have one eye on triple screen gaming (Elite and driving games) in the future.

I would like to upgrade my cpu n mobo in a few months as well.

So what is the best card for me?

R9 280/380?

GTX 970/980?

I would like the best bang for my buck obviously and obviously the cheaper the better...

I am kinda confused as to all the different brands that seem to offer different things and promises on the same cards?
Custom PC recommend ASUS Radeon R9 380 Strix 2GB for 1080p gaming but I imagine this isn't a huge gain over my current card

For 4k gaming, it suggests 2x ASUS GTX 770 4GB.. so do I buy one now (Will i get a decent performance jump) and invest in a 2nd later when I upgrade my cpu n mobo and get another 2 screens?

I am soooooooooooo confused!!

r9 290/x, r9 390/x,GTX 980, any is fine for elite dangerus, buf if you can hold until mid 2016 then wait for new video card

Based on this thread: (http://www.overclock.net/t/502403/graphics-card-ranking) Your 770 already outperforms both the AMD R9 380 and 280. As for best for your buck, a gtx 970 is the best single GPU for the money. However, if your GTX 770 is a 4gb version, i would recommend buying a second 770 for SLI since your power supply is already SLI ready. In addition you will get more performance for the buck, matching that of a GTX 980.

Bad advice, SLI-ing older GPUs.

To OP, 390X or 390 would be about 30-40% faster than a 770. Consider an R9 fury if you have the budget for it.

I looked at the Fury but can't really stretch to it
