Can Windows 10 installed in UEFI mode make a game to run worst than legacy mode? I need help!

Thread Starter
Hello guys, I don't know if this is the cause, but after I did a fresh Windows 10 installation in UEFI mode, my game Elder Scrolls Online was having a lot of FPS drop during boss fights and with a lot of players/enemies in the screen that I never had before when I used in normal mode. Can I relate Windows 10 UEFI to that or maybe it can be a game's fault after the new patch (when I used to play in normal mode Windows 10, there wasn't this new patch, and when I decided to go back to play, I did a fresh Windows 10 installation in UEFI mode, because I bought new SSD and HD).

Any help? The problem is only with this game, others have run the same as before.

Most likely the patch. UEFI should have no influence on the performance of the game. Where you having issues on Windows 10 in Legacy mode in Elder Scrolls? Have you researched Windows 10 and Elder Scrolls performance?

Having a look around, your not the only one having issues with Elder Scrolls and Windows 10. Heaps people reporting performance loss with Windows 10 and others say they have no issues. Go figure. Think I'll stick to Windows 7 for the foreseeable future.
