CableMod sponsors YOUR build log!

Hello OCNET Community,

in order to gather feedback from you guys about our brand new WideBeam LED Strips we decided to sponsor build logs - see below more information about our WideBeam LED Strips and what information we need from you in order to get sponsored:

LED Strips Perfected.

CableMod brings the same care and attention to detail from our cables the world of LED lighting. We’ve rethought virtually every part of the LED strip – from the adhesive to the power connector, all the way to the LEDs themselves.

See why CableMod WideBeam LEDs are the superior PC lighting solution.

WideBeam™ Technology

Utilizing a unique transparent LED housing, CableMod WideBeam LED’s deliver a much wider beam angle – over 50% greater than traditional LEDs. Bright and vibrant with a much more even lighting effect, WideBeam LEDs look different because they are different.

Dual Adhesive Options

With the number of different case materials out there, we didn’t think one solution would fit all. CableMod WideBeam LED Strips come in both magnetic and foam adhesive to suit all kinds of cases on the market.

The WideBeam Magnetic Series features multiple rare-earth magnets for a secure fit, and can be easily repositioned or moved to alternate builds. Those with aluminum or non-magnetic cases can choose the WideBeam Foam Series for a foam adhesive that is over 200% stronger than typical LED strips.

Vibrant Color Options

CableMod WideBeam LED Strips not only come in classic colors like red, blue, green, and white, but also in UV. These strips are also available in RGB, complete with convenient remote control and IR receiver which allow you to run a variety of colors and light modes.

SATA Power Connector

Easier to connect and more secure, CableMod WideBeam LED Strips come with a SATA power connector, perfect for today’s power supplies that come with many more SATA connectors than the traditional 4 pin Molex.

Fully Chainable

Have a large case and need more length? No problem – both the WideBeam Magnetic and WideBeam Foam Series are fully chainable, which means you can connect multiple LED strips together for an extra-long lighting solution.

ASUS® AURA Compatible

CableMod RGB LED Strips come equipped with a special adapter that allows them to work perfectly with ASUS® motherboards that feature an RGB header, like the ROG Maximus VIII Formula.

In order to get sponsored please post a comment below this post providing the following information:

1) URL of your Build Log
2) Where are you located?
3) How many LED Strips in which color and length do you need for your build? Magnetic or Foam Adhesive ones?

Looking forward to you guys comments & feedback!

Hey this is great! Some great looking LED strips. Are we supposed to PM you that information or post in here. Was looking for some LED strips to give a sort of edge glow on my motherboard in my custom case.

Thanks, Jeffinslaw

Do you have a way to connect individual lengths with cables to form a sort of U shape?

Well regardless:

Build log link: HERE
Location: Washington State, USA
Materials required: three of length 8in and ways to connect them to power and each other.

we do not have 8inch LED Strips - also would need to know in which color you need them and magnetic or foam adhesive - please inform yourself about what we do have and then let me know specific what you would need for your build.

Well darn, your shortest length is 30cm which is about 11in or so. Too long for my needs! Good luck getting the word out there about your product. I've been trying to get word out about my custom case but it's slow moving.

You could get 30CM ones and then cut them - will provide you with further information about how you should cut them once I pick the "winners" - in which color do you want the strips?

These might actually be nice for my RVZ02 build
