yeah, no gimping in nvidia drivers going on there. Well i guess that settles it. next gen card i gotta ditch my 970, cause i know nvidia will gimp the heck out of it if i don't and windows 10 won't let me keep old drivers. Assuming the next gen AMD cards aren't tragic like the current gen cards, i might head back to team red for a bit. I don't feel like replacing my $400 gpu every generation just because team green wants to make me upgrade.

no you're not reading it right. biggrin.gif

so let me get this straight; you're trying to use benchmarks that several people dispute the validity of to keep using a supposition that was debunked a year ago?

yeah, ok. rolleyes.gif

My conclusion: skylake have bug http://www.pcworld.com/article/3021023/hardware/how-to-test-your-pc-for-the-skylake-bug.html
and 4790k is good for gaming. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NoFzi3WdNZo&list=PLC85l4CwqZZBGSYnXRv0d3nUzKP70CXMA

How is 280x matching gtx780 when it's 15% slower, just like it was when it launched.

Ah yeah, as for GK104 cards, well only 2GB VRAM is your answer, there is no gimping involved. Look at the big difference between GTX960 2GB vs 4GB for example..

Wow, you've been posting that everywhere. The i7 4790K is a good CPU but the i7 6700K is newer technology and is better. Sure it may not be a tremendous performance increase from the i7 4790K but it's still faster.

I know you must love your i7 4790K, I love mine too, but you don't have to go around posting that Skylake bug thing everywhere and claiming the i7 4790K is superior when that is not the case.

Is an average of a 10% performance increase with the i7 6700K that much of a bother to you?

10% ! Where did you find this? Most applications utilize only a thread, look this https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html What is the best cpu? Sure, 6700k can have better multi-thread but it have many bugs: http://www.overclock.net/newsearch?search=skylake+bug&=Search

What do you have with this bug? First of all it is only ONE bug and it will only occur in complex workloads in prime95. Also there will be a fix.
The i7-6700k is atleast 10% faster in IPC and even if both chips are equally fast at stock there is no reason to not to get a 6700k.

Look at the i7 2600K still basically a top dog. Damn and to think I'm wasting that CPU in a Server/HTPC Rig tongue.gif. Easily one of the best CPU's I've purchased in a whileee.

Just Maybe I've seen it all now, but why do you guys give a damn, about (Honest question) what this website gamegpu.ru says for or against any groupings of cards or reviews worthy to the point of arguing over it or what they include or don't include? Unless the Internet chat and reviews are your life?

Oops honesty slipped out. :D

Cough, What I mean to say is...The review is a sampling to be sure, and it says just as much by what was left out. It is what it is... :o
