I was set on 303 but then I discovered it has sensor rattle, which I might be okay with when buying a $5 mouse but not a $50 one. Just pathetic thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif
I like everything else about it tho, and I definitely would like to reduce my mouse weight for 120g to under 90g and try an optical sensor, so if anyone has any other ideas then please share them. Rival 300 is 120g if I read correctly, so no go.

Fixed on newer batches, or just stick some tape on the lens. No mouse is flawless and I always end up changing feet, cable, doing taped fixes or other mods on my main mouse. I don't believe in mice that express their maximum potential out of the box. The ones that do usually just have to great limitations to be easily modded out, like sensor position for example or gimped firmware.
If all mice issues could be solved with a piece of tape, the world would be a better place.
