You have a defective G100. At least according to this guy...

They have a **** build quality and the sensor gets lose. You should call logitech and get a replacement.

I've just played with it for an hour or so, the problem is definitely somewhere else than the actual sensor. The sensor is absolutely fine and accurate, responsive and no jitter whatsoever.. but I still have the same feeling of inconsistency, it doesn't give me that confidence in moving it around. And I do have a couple of theories that could be it, or maybe all combined together:

1. Because of the high LOD whenever I lift and put the mouse back again, it slightly moves the cursor upwards, each and everytime time.
2. Definitely could be the mousefeet since they almost feel non-existing and that thing in the middle can also cause some friction? giving me the sense of inaccuracy.
3. Maybe the stiff cable can give some sort of resistance since it's a very lightweight mouse and can move easily.
4. The sensor lens or w/e definitely feels too high up.
5. Defect

Out of all I definitely suspect the mousefeet or that thing in the middle above the sensor, which could cause friction or some sort of resistance.. I have no idea, I just don't that I don't feel quite confident with it in just moving the mouse cursor around, ingame I can definitely aim on heads, but still some sort of inconsistency feeling.

Like if I choose my nickname in this thread + the quote button down there, and I try to move my mouse from my name to the button, it will NOT stop accurately at any point, it always either stops too early or goes too far, there is something that stops me halfway, then BOOM it just glides/flies.

So it's either defect, or it's the mousefeet that has some conflict with that curvy thing in the middle.

I can't see where there is anything about a G100s in that video. Where can I confirm that the sensor is loose? because it could definitely feel like it all things considered.

not possible for the sensor to get loose. and if you mean the lens, well i've used more than 5 g100s's and none of them have loose lenses.

I like the g100s. sometimes the mouse just has a tendency to malfunction or something the cursor looks straight down. not even sweeping it that fast and it does this. im not sure if this is maybe mouse pad related, im using qck+ and it does this. ive heard other reports of this happening to other people too

I can make the G100s malfunction easily on purpose but never have issues in-game.

Just recieved the Rival 100, and jesus this is amazing so far. I definitely feel more confident in aiming with this one than with the G100s, it just doesn't have the sense of inaccuracy that the g100s gives me, I don't know if its mousefeet related or anything like this, but definitely could be.

This however does have the same kind of high LOD that the g100s has, so whenever I lift the mouse and place it again on the mousepad, it'll move up a tiny bit, maybe mousepad related, maybe not, I'd have to test this later. currently using the Zowie G-SR. I have not installed any drivers yet, not sure if I want to, this feels perfectly fine for me, whatever setting the default is on.

The design and build quality for the price is amazing too.. the only thing I kinda dislike is the buttons feels abit stiff due to the coating, I don't know if it loosens up with time. It's not like Zowie's huenos where they feel hard, it's just the coating kinda doesn't give you the feel of pressing a button, but it feels amazing in the hand regardless.

I have no idea if my G100s is faulty or not, but this definitely feels more accurate and steady. Maybe the shape/shell/mousefeet, maybe the sensor I have no idea.

Think I am gonna have to try that Rival 100 too. Thinking of buying Sensei/Rival 100 for the shape & soft clicks.
