ASUS PA328Q vs. DELL UP3216Q

Hello fellows,

What do you guys think of these two monitors? Which one is better? I basically have decided to not go for curved/flat 21:9 monitors due to the fact that I have used to the "retina" monitor resolution.

Primarily, photo/video editing, movies, a few games here and there.

Any help is appreciated.

Buy the Acer XB321HK with G-Sync instead:

If you don't know what a wide gamut monitor is and how to use color management the UP3216Q is one of the last 32" 4k monitors you should be considering, especially since the Acer is cheaper.

Thanks. I will take a look at that monitor.

Well, the reason I want it is just for pure bigness but also picture quality. I have tried 40 tv/monitor. My experience was horrible.

I don't know if your going to do any photoshop work or webdesign work. If so stay away from a curved display.

For the past few days, I have read through almost all the threads regarding the backlight bleeding issues on these curved ultrawide monitors. I dont want to go through the "lottery" of hoping getting a "perfect" one, which does not exist from what I have heard. Now, I have settled down to two monitors, one is asus pa328q and the other is dell up3216q.

Both are a waste of money and offer no advantages over the Acer XB321HK (Nvidia G-Sync) and BenQ BL3201PH (AMD Free-Sync). The Dell UP3216Q is meant to be purchased by people with colorimeters who know how to use colour management and need a wide gamut monitor for work.
