Thermaltake Core X9, Corsair Air 540, or Phanteks Enthoo Pro?

Hey guys, I was wondering what would be a better case to configure for optimum air cooling to cool down better my Devil 13 290x2. The Thermaltake Core X9, Corsair Air 540, or Phanteks Enthoo Pro?

I currently own the Phanteks Enthoo Pro and my goal is to optimize cooling while trying to keep fan noise down if possible. Thanks!

I would start here, * * Ways to Better Cooling; Airflow, Cooler & Fan Data..* there is a lot of good air cooling info. Honestly I would stick with the case you have right now, when set up properly it can be a very nice case for air cooling.

this one handles quite well 500w tdp(check throne review at anandtech)

But the design of a horizontal oriented mobo tray would be the best choice for the devil13 to avoid problems with the weight of the card and the pcie port

I see, i am not to worry about the card more than the air flow I truly need most. biggrin.gif I will check out the review.

You will need a different orientation of the mobo the r9 290x2 d13 is quite heavy and will sag due to its weight and the connection with the port wont work correctly

yea true, this brings a stick that I put on the back to hold it in place. biggrin.gif so far been working but yes I do agree getting something with a horizontal setup would be better.
