2 Radiator one pump CPU + GPU cooling - Page 2

Here are the components that i'm looking to buy.

And actually i decided to use the i5-4690K instead

CPU: i5-4690K
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr
Motherboard: MSI Z97-GAMING 5
Ram: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR3-1600

And i was just thinking i'd get the Corsair h100i for the CPU and later upgrade with two radiators and reservoir and all that but my question is if there is a better cooler out there then the Corsair h100i i heard from my buddy that the swiftech h220 is quite good as well but i don't know what do you think??

If you plan to upgrade to a full loop dont buy a $100 water cooler. A thermalright true spirit 140 bk rev A will perform within 3c of those which gives the same OC headroom for only $50.

Okay and if i was to get the 2 radiators a pump and the reservoir do you know any good quality once?
The GPU will benefit more from water cooling than the CPU. Have you considered expandable units like the ones from Swiftech or EK? That'll make it easier to add components down the line.

I am not familiar with that case. I have an R5 with ek rads. A pe 360mm and 140mm with at mcp35x pump cooling a (delided) 4790k 4.8ghz 65c max and gtx 980 1506mhz 55c max.

You can probably fit two 240mm rads in that case if you remove all the drive cage. I like Ek rads but Hardware labs are great too.

I would suggest a Fractal define S $79 case instead or something else designed for water cooling. Then you can fit rads a lot easier.

I agree with this. Get a case for water cooling. I am tearing my Phantom 410 apart slowly to accommodate water cooling. Luckily even though I removed the cages pop rivets, the case is still study but still...

Buying a cheap water cooling case is the best place to start. It will save a lot of time. Might even save money since 90% of the parts will mount right to it.
