I like it as a mouse - you can't easily pick it up like a palm mouse but it's pretty good. The bad is the cable and the material of the sides which get oily easily and make grip even worse

Yeah, I find my self cleaning the sides with alcohol quite often.

True about the sensor position. But i could say the same about 95% of all mice available. At least the lower sensor position of the G3 allows for a higher sensitivity. I could go to like 8cm/360° with the G3 and still feel somewhat comfortable. (Not saying i play that high, but i'm ok with 11-13cm on the G3, where i have to lower my sens with other mice to like 16-20cm to be able to aim properly)

The lift-off however is completly fine, unless you consider 2.0-2.5 mm as high. Tested on my 2 current G3 boards. One of them was completle new sealed from just months ago.

damn straight. braided is a joke. a complete fail.
people say they like or want it, but only because somehow it makes them feel it's better quality, or something.
the resistance is disgusting. i wish every mouse had the option of non-braided :/

but yeah, braided cables is definitely one of the silliest things with mice.
it's become this checkbox that companies can check if they want to provide their 14yo super ultra gamer audience with super mega awesome tip top supreme quality

I've used braided on some mice and it's been ok. However some braids are either too stiff or drag too much on cloth mousepads.

As long as the cable is well made rubber is generally better and has less resistance. The paracord feels weightless but unfortunately it was a nightmare for me to install - would be nice if mice could start shipping with those kind of cables - makes the mouse feel almost wireless
