Also, it appears Sweclockers found some other info pointing towards a later release. Honestly, I am not sure if the source is credible. Also can someone translate this natively? Google translate is not so great.

A Kingpin with liquid nitrogen cooling costs less than a TitanX? News to me, mate! Base model was $850, topped out at $1050, not sure what a LN2 setup will run, not really my game. Take away that one outlier and it's fairly predictably mostly TXs - certainly not being "obliterated".

Don't get me wrong, I still love my 980Ti, but it ain't a TX.

That doesnt contradict the source. Thats HBM2 cards.
As I said, first Pascal cards are most likely GDDR5x.

HBM2 will be the uber expensive cards and it makes sense to sample HBM2 chips thats just gone in to massproduction before launching them

Wouldn't that be the Titan-esque card w/ HBM2 that is being released first, or did I miss something.

It directly contradicts the source. Unless Titans will be using GDDR5x. Look at the roadmap in OP. It was Titan pascals that were supposed to be released in April.

So, if the Titans are coming in April, that'll leave end of the year for any 1080 Ti variant so that Titan adopters can feel they wasted less money. Got it.

Correct

Sounds very early for HBM2.
In addition, thats not a roadmap from anyone but a guy guessing what will happen. He doesnt know anything.

The whole "roadmap" is nothing but "???". Seriously

OC3D roadmap is from Sep 2015, and has the Pascal Chip towards the beginning of 2016 in the figure. How does this indicate anything besides Nvidia hoping last Sept that Pascal would come out early 2016.

Since when is Techfrag a reliable source? For that matter, who the explicative is TechFrag???? Their roadmap looks like an 8 year old made it in paint. Notice question marks after everything in the figure? Dates??? Bus width??? Names???

I can make a roadmap too, who wants to see it?

Node shrink, new memory tech, first time using Finfets. All would seemingly point to a large die gpu being less than likely so soon. At least that's my opinion. I would bet AMD will have a relatively small die initially as well.

I hope I am wrong and both AMD and Nvidia bring out 500+ mm^2 monster GPUs first, but then how are they going to Milk 14/16 nm for the next 4 years??? Think about it guys

As I stated earlier. This thread/source should be taken with a grain of salt. Wishful thinking is wishful.

It will be a Titan with the crappy die (GP102?) and GDDR5X while the real Titan launches 1H 2017 with HBM2.
