Could you at least acknowledge that you don't know in your language. Maybe preface your statement with "I think..." or something analogous. What you wrote reads as factual statement, which it probably is not.

I am calling it now. GP104 will launch first, and not even by April. Hopefully I am wrong

In English, that's exactly what "I'm calling it now" means. biggrin.gif

I'm wanting and waiting for 4k@60 until I build a new rig. I am over 1080p. I'm already in the process of upgrading my t4i camera to one that does 4K as well as getting a 4k phone. I can't wait to replace my living room TV with a 60" 4k instead of the 60" 1080p I've had.

I don't think "I'm calling it" means "I think" exactly. I think you are wrong. Or, I am calling it now- you are wrong. That doesn't matter actually. Is that phrase a reference to poker game? Seems to me like it could be.
What are you predictions concerning Polaris? I'm possibly interested in this card too.

This thread has much speculation, I like it how everyone has made up their mind, that not buying a 980ti was the greatest decision they made this last year biggrin.gif

I deduced it from the facts. Nvidia has launched a Titan card every ~12 months. HBM2 hasn't arrived quickly enough. Why launch the big daddy die when you can release a cut version (like the Titan was to Titan Black) now and then the real version, with HBM2, a year later? Volta Titan certainly isn't dropping in 2017.

This is pathetic, who the hell cares about efficiency for top end gaming GPUs. We all have 4k to conquer, what the hells is this bs Nvidia.

Good thinking.

well saving some here would make it possible to allocate more power into another place, as I see it. we need efficient architecture/memory in the first place if we wanna squeeze maximum performance out of it later on.

Other than about a year ago when Nvidia blew up a few GPUs with a bad driver, can't say I have seen anything. I would love to know, explicitly, what the problems have been since. You both seem to be so keen on the problems, list them. "Educate" those of us who have been living under the rocks.

As turning to insults, instead of backing up your claims, really does show you don't have a claim. Also, let's be clear that we are talking about driver issues, and not end user issues, or software issues due to lazy development.

There... Nvidia's Windows 10 drivers have been plagued with issues. So much so that many nvidia users have refused to move to Windows 10. These issues should be all ironed out soon. Seriously though... You weren't aware of these rather well known issues which are even discussed in these very forums?
