X-Star DP2414 over clocking.

Hi guys, I'm using a 144hz monitor and today I overclocked it to 185hz. I used NvCP to just raise the refresh rate and left the timings on auto. Do you think if I set manual timings I could even get closer to 200hz? Is NvCP the best for OC'ing (gtx 970) or should I use CRU? Also does anyone have a guide to setting the timings when OC'ing a monitor as I've never changed them before, I know how but I don't know what to change them to. Thanks for reading.

Sorry to bump this but I am finding it really hard to get any info on adjusting timings. What settings do you adjust? Do you raise or lower them?
