New PC using old 2009 alienware case... bad idea?

Hello. I want to upgrade my 2009 dell alienware completely with a new mobo/cpu/memory/graphics card/harddrive. My question is, if I get all that stuff will it still be okay to reuse the case and power supply?

The power supply is 100-240v at 10A 50/60hz. But online it says it's about 850 watts. I may need to get adapters for some of the newer power plugs required on the new mobo.

If you're curious what I am thinking of upgrading to:
  • 1 × GIGABYTE GA-Z170X-UD5 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
    Item #: N82E16813128838
  • 1 × Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel® HD Graphics 530
    Item #: N82E16819117559
  • 1 × CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model CMK16GX4M2B3200C16
    Item #: N82E16820233859
  • 1 × Seagate Laptop Thin ST500LT012 500GB 5400 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive
    Item #: N82E16822178125
  • MSI GeForce GTX 970 DirectX 12 GTX 970 GAMING 4G 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support G-SYNC Support ...

My budget is 1,000 and this is $1,024. Any tips/advice would be very appreciated!! Thank you for your time and have a great day!

Nice, I always liked that alienware case in particular. You should do a plexi glass side mod to show off your hardware.
