Never give up. Perhaps we can get lucky and find the file(s) that you need instead of relying on a bulky installer like that one.
Edit: I think I may have found what we are looking for. I downloaded it and moved it to my Dropbox folder:
The reason why I am doing it this way is, well, download it from their site and then examine what you get. You'll see a setup file for a program called Carambis Driver Updater, and then you'll see a .zip file containing 3 files:
Ignore the setup file for that silly third-party program and just extract these 3 files to a safe place. Then, right-click the .inf file and choose "Install". I think that this is all you will have to do, but let me know what your results are. Well, restart your computer before you figure out what the results are - just in case you need to.
Note: if you can't install it this way, then you might also be able to install via Device Manager by telling it to update the Monitor driver with what you extracted. So, you'd have to open Device Manager, expand "Monitors", then double-click your monitor and then click "Update Driver". Then, tell it that you want to browse your computer for the driver. Then you'll click the "Browse..." button and then browse to the folder where you extracted those 3 files. Then you select the folder, click Next and hope for the best.
